The US CMA exam is divided into two parts, each lasting 4 hours. Part 1: Financial Planning, Performance, and Analytics and Part 2: Strategic Financial Management both consist of 100 multiple-choice questions, each worth 4 marks, and 2 essay questions, each worth 50 marks, totaling 500 marks. The exam includes 3 hours for the multiple-choice section and 1 hour for the essay questions. Scores range from 0 to 500, with a minimum passing score of 360 required for each part. Multiple-choice questions account for 75% of the total score, while essay questions contribute 25%.
