ACCA exemptions allow you to skip certain ACCA exams based on your existing qualifications. Here’s how it works:
Exemption Breakdown:
- Completed Class 12th: No exemptions; you need to take all 13 papers.
- BCom Graduate: Exempt from 4 papers (Business and Technology, Management Accounting, Financial Accounting, Corporate and Business Law); need to take 9 papers.
- MCom Post Graduate: Same exemptions as BCom; need to take 9 papers.
- CA IPCC (Both Groups): Exempt from 5 papers (Business and Technology, Management Accounting, Financial Accounting, Taxation, Audit and Assurance); need to take 8 papers.
- Qualified Chartered Accountant: Exempt from 9 papers (Business and Technology, Management Accounting, Financial Accounting, Taxation, Corporate and Business Law, Audit and Assurance, Financial Management, Financial Reporting, Performance Management); need to take 4 papers.
How to Apply:
- Register for ACCA exams on their official website.
- Submit proof of your qualifications, such as degree certificates or transcripts, either during registration or via email.

- Degree in commerce (BCom or MCom).
- Completed CA IPCC (both groups).
- Full Chartered Accountant qualification.
