Workpapers are how an audit is defensible. A professional who can execute excellent fieldwork but cannot document it clearly is not yet a professional auditor. This module develops the documentation mindset — the discipline of gathering evidence that directly supports professional conclusions, organised in a way that any reviewer can follow.

The final phase covers what happens after the fieldwork is done — and it is where many candidates are least prepared. You learn to validate and justify your professional opinions, communicate audit findings clearly to partners and stakeholders, and navigate the review process that every audit engagement ends with.
The “Art of Defense” is what interviewers are probing for when they ask about your audit experience. Candidates who have been through this module can answer those questions with authority.
